Sarah Fisher and Arlin Fisher
Our names are Sarah & Arlin Fisher. We lived in Horace ND since 2002 where we have raised 8 children. We have been also blessed with 2 sons-in-law and 2 grandchildren with a third on the way.
In 1993 Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education, she has owned and managed a sign business, and has have been in healthcare for 34 years. Sarah’s last 15 years in healthcare has been at Sandford which she has held multiple positions focusing on patient care.
In 1991 Arlin graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a second degree in Economics from North Dakota State University. While working a full-time job he went back to school to earn a Master of Business Administration degree in 1996. For over 27 years he held many different positions with a large technology company and for the past 5 years has been working as a Realtor.
Melissa (Williams) Kaiser
Melissa Kaiser is the Human Trafficking Navigator for Eastern North Dakota, contracted with the North Dakota Human Trafficking Task Force. She is also employed with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations as a Victim/Witness Specialist. Melissa graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She is a member of the North Dakota Human Trafficking Task Force, and is the vice chair of the Labor Trafficking Subcommittee. Melissa is involved in additional committees and task forces specific to underserved populations in the Fargo/Moorhead community, and is a trained facilitator in Compassion Fatigue, Green Dot, SHARP, GEMS, My Life My Choice, and Stand to Protect. She is a board member for the Fargo Police Department’s Badges of Unity program. Melissa is a skilled facilitator working with groups within foster care systems, psychiatry and addiction patients, and human trafficking multi-disciplinary teams. She has experience in team supervision, protocol development, crisis management, public speaking, training development, prevention/education, advocacy, and case management. Melissa assisted in creating a summer food service program for children in Fargo, ND, and studied abroad the social welfare system of Ireland. She currently lives in Fargo, ND.
Patti Kritzberger, RHIT, CHPS
Patti Kritzberger, RHIT, CHPS, Health Information Technology Quality Improvement Specialist, has 25+ years’ experience in Health Information Technology, is certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security and as an RHIT. She is currently working for Quality Health Associates and under contract with Health Tech Solutions as an Onboarding Specialist for the ND Health Information Network Expansion Project. Patti has held positions as REACH (Regional Extension Center) Coordinator, Assistant Director of Health Information, Health Information Director, Privacy Officer, and HIM coding Consultant. Patti has also served in the offices of President-Elect, President and Past President, Education Director, and Membership Director of the North Dakota Health Information Management Association.
Lairssa Stein, RHIT, CCS, CCDS
Larissa Stein is a Health Information Management professional with over 20 years’ experience. She is a Registered Health Information Technician, as well as a Certified Coding Specialist and Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist. She has built her career in a variety of roles and various healthcare systems. Larissa has been involved with the entire HIM process, from CDI review on the floor to the ever increasing prevalence of denial
management. Currently, Larissa is employed at the University of Utah Hospital as a CDI Quality Liaison. Immediately prior, she worked as a remote contract Clinical Documentation Specialist for the University of Colorado Hospital where she was responsible for reviewing multiple service lines. Other prior experience includes auditing for many healthcare facilities within the United States and working as a Lead Hospital Coder for CHI St. Alexius Medical Center. In addition, she has coded both inpatient and outpatient records, trained and educated IP and OP coders, CDI staff, and became an IP coding and CDI EPIC Super-user. Larissa has been involved with the North Dakota Health Information Management Association, previously serving as President and Membership Director.
